G’day you bonza lot!
So I did say I would be back soon with a blog about what I purchased last Sunday at Battersea Car Boot because it was a pretty epic day it has to be said.
Stephen and I have become seasoned car booters this year and I am accustomed to spending our Sunday rummaging through antiques and peoples unwanted – I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday actually! I have started a few rules for myself so I don’t get carried away…
- Only spend up to £4 per item unless I really REALLY love it…
- Only get things I really need, not useless junk that is a quite cute or pretty and will soon end up on my own car boot table – for sale!
Ok 2 rules – I might need more as I am definitely getting a bit carried away and spending money that I don’t have (what’s that bank manager – my overdraft isn’t actually for spending?! Oh you’re funny Mr.bank manager, very funny indeed!)
ANYWAY… Shhh about the money let’s just enjoy the pretty things – all taken on my new camera that I got for such a bargain I’m still checking it’s real every hour – the Canon 600D – my chosen dream camera that I couldn’t afford is mine, it’s second hand but it’s in bloomin great nick and I LOVE it!!
ANYWAY!!! The pictures:

My new favourite boots at the highest price of £10 but it was going to a lovely girl raising money to go help charities the other side of the world so it was going to a great cause! |
So there’s my epic haul! 🙂
What have you bought at a car boot? What’s your best find?! I would love to hear from you!
Coming up soon – lots more sewing pictures!! I’ve been busy and I can’t wait to show you all.
Love and other men’s treasures,

These are some great finds. Especially the vintage patterns!
I have the same kind of addiction, and I buy a lot of tins, like these: http://annatreurniet.tumblr.com/image/76855645520, which are now used as containers for random bathroom stuff:)
