Time to come back…

It’s been six months… Well nearly, so I’m officially the worst blogger ever.
My excuse is being a full time singer/songwriter, touring musician, workaholic, Christmas obsessive, cleaner, chef, dog walker, website designer, online shop runner, social media executive, record label director… oh and a blogger. Oops!

I am sorry.

I’m not even here with any exciting DIY titbits or inciteful knowledge about gardens, summer houses (which is storage cupboard right now 🙁 ) I wanted to talk about Christmas and show you my favourite wreaths, trees and holly displays but that was SO December!!

I am going to just show you pictures… Inspirations… All politely borrowed from Pinterest.
Soon I will start projects and the garden and flat will have a makeover. I am also going to bring cooking in because I’ve really caught that bug now!I also might show you our new tour van – our band kitting it out and maybe even bring you backstage soon!

Anyway…
January is always the same, I become nocturnal and slightly down because the shoestring is barely on a thread- I couldn’t even afford soup today… but I can dream… And I do a lot of it!! I flick through catalogues, surf the net for projects and walk around furniture shops with no intention of buying anything – all to get inspired and dream of what I can do with spaces.

Stephen and I always get our mind set on one room at a time and right now it’s the snug (sitting room) so we talk about it constantly, walking around the room saying – “if the sofa was smaller and went here, and we get a projector screen instead of a TV- we could fit in a little table and chairs to eat at here” but these things cost money so this blog, right now is about ‘what ifs’… Dreams.

Here are mine:

We both want a sofa like this… (although I’m slightly worried about it’s comfortability!)
